Garment Care

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your garments, please follow these care instructions.

SILK

Washing

1. Hand Wash Recommended. Fill a basin with cold water and add a small amount of gentle detergent specifically made for silk or delicate fabrics.

2. Submerge the Garment. Gently immerse the silk item in the soapy water, allowing it to soak for a few minutes.

3. Gently Agitate. Using your hands, gently agitate the water to remove dirt and stains. Avoid scrubbing or twisting the fabric.

4. Rinse Thoroughly. Carefully rinse the garment with cold water until all detergent is removed.

5. Do Not Wring. To remove excess water, do not wring or twist the silk. Instead, gently press the fabric against the side of the basin to expel water.

Drying

1. Lay Flat to Dry. Place the wet garment on a clean, dry towel. Roll the towel with the garment inside to absorb additional moisture, then lay the garment flat on another dry towel or a drying rack away from direct sunlight.

2. Avoid Hanging. Do not hang the garment to dry, as this may cause it to stretch out of shape.

Ironing

1. Use Low Heat. If needed, iron the silk garment on the lowest heat setting (often labeled as "silk" on the iron) while the fabric is slightly damp.

2. Use a Pressing Cloth. Place a thin cloth between the iron and the silk to prevent direct heat exposure.

3. Iron on the Inside. It is advisable to iron the garment inside-out to protect the silk fibers and maintain the fabric's sheen.

Storage

1. Store in a Cool, Dry Place. Hang silk garments on padded hangers or fold them carefully and store them in a dry, cool environment to prevent unwanted creasing or stretching.

2. Avoid Direct Sunlight. To preserve the color and integrity of the silk, store it away from direct sunlight.

3. Keep Away from Moisture. Ensure your storage area is free from excess humidity, which can lead to mildew.
